About Me
I am Beverley Walker, a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist, an Integrative Counsellor, and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP).
I offer a compassionate, supportive, and professional approach to counselling, working with people who are experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, addiction, and the challenges of recovery. I understand that everyone's experiences are unique, and I aim to provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported as you explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
I also have experience of chronic health conditions, including autoimmune disorders, and recognise the significant impact these can have on both physical and emotional wellbeing. Living with ongoing health challenges can affect many aspects of life, and I understand the importance of having space to explore the emotional difficulties that may accompany them.
Alongside my counselling and psychotherapy qualifications, I trained at the British School of Reflexology in 2001 and hold a Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology. This background has contributed to my understanding of the relationship between physical and emotional wellbeing.
